How do I talk to it?
Tap the eyes once, wait for the chirp, then speak — or say “hai robo” to wake it hands-free. Long-press anywhere to open Settings.
Do I need to sign in?
Yes — the AI features (chat, search, vision, translate) require Sign in with Apple or Google. Robot control and on-device features work without it.
The microphone or wake word isn't working
Open iOS Settings → Hai Robo and make sure Microphone and Speech Recognition are allowed. The always-listening toggle is in the app's Settings → Assistant → Wake word.
It won't open automatically when I dock the phone
iOS requires you to create a Shortcuts automation once. In the app: Settings → Connections → Auto-open on dock and follow the 3 steps (Shortcuts → Automation → “Charger connects” → Run “Open Hai Robo”). Opening from a locked phone is limited by iOS.
How do I export or delete my data?
In the app: Settings → Your data → Data & privacy to export (CSV/JSON) or clear everything, and Settings → Account → Delete account to permanently remove your account and server data.
Do I need the robot dock?
No. The dock is optional hardware — every feature works on the phone alone over Wi-Fi. The dock just lets Hai Robo physically turn to face you.
Cabs / food / groceries
Hai Robo opens your installed apps via links and voice — you complete checkout in those apps. Save places and favourite orders in Settings first.
“Improve my design” / screen questions
These use the optional Mac companion. Pair it (Settings → Connections → Mac companion → scan the QR code), then ask — it reads your Mac screen automatically.
